OBJECTIVE : TO INTRODUCE THE INDIAN CULTURE THROUGH THE MEDIUM OF FINE ARTS,PROTECTING AND PROSPERING ART.
Kolhapur has been the pioneer of all aspects of art, film and theatre, over the decades and We as the disciples of chitrtapasvi bhalaji pendharakar, starting the the “Film and theatre academy of acting”. Film and theatre academy of acting [FTA] is academy of teaching all acting oriented crafts, aspects and asthetic values of arts relating to film making process and theatre making process. The course encloses teaching and practices. FTA is having two theatrical halls. Both halls has good acoustics for performing arts and screening of short films equipped with LCD projectors ,lights and all set design equipments. The FTA library includes large collection of books relating to Performing Arts, Television , Film, Theatre.
This programme is designed for potential entrepreneurs having strong desire to start career in film ,serial and theatre acting Taking into consideration the syllabus is primarly focused on acting.
Programme Structure
This programme is built around series of lectures ,presentations, short film making and theatrical performances.
Students will be trained in acting with practices and demonstrations Students will ,individually or in small groups, work together for creation of short films and theater performances.

Admission
To Get Admission in FTA must require to complete audition for the course. Audition we take every year on 1st 2nd 3rd July. Course is 8 months duration conducted on weekends. We limit the strength of the batch for every year is up to 25 students to give attention on each student individually. This year (2012) we shortlisted 20 out of 75 interviewers.Faculty
